If you could change anything about your character, what would it be?
"I'd like to make Rick a little more edgy and wild. I think all of the pressure and all the crap he's been through should catch up to him and he should just freak out"


What was your favorite food growing up? What is your favorite food now?
"Chinese food, and it hasn't changed. I love chinese food, especially hot and sour soup"


Other than yourself, who should play you in the movie of your life?
"Other than myself, I'd have to say my best friend. He knows me best. I wouldn't want anybody else to play me in a movie of my life. I can't see why anyone would write a movie about my life"


What was your most embarassing dating fiasco?
"One time I went to all; this trouble to make this really nice dinner for the girl I was dating. I set up this treasure hunt to get her to my house and she just couldn't figure it out. I was sitting at my house dressed ll nice with this dinner I made and she didnt show up until like three hours later. The thing is, it was really easy. There was a pathway of candles leading up to my door and.... she walked right pass my house. I thought it was simple enough, but I guess not"


If you could go back into the past and do one thing over, what would it be?
"I dont think i'd do anything over. I learned from everything I done. Even mistakes I made - if I hadn't made them then I wouldn't have benefited from them"


Which actors on your show are most/least like their characters?
"Sean Kanan is nothing like his character, Deacon. Sean's not evil."


If you found a genie to grant you three wishes, what would they be? If your character found the same genie, what would his/her wishes be?
"I would wish that my family and I would all be comfortable for the rest of our lives. I'd also want to solve a lot of the world's problems so that people would be happier. Also, I'd wish for a big house on the beach. I think Rick would probably wish for the same stuff. Maybe he'd wish for a more normal life, and that he had never shot Grant."


What's the last video you rented?
"Remember The Titans. I had heard it was a good movie and so I rented it. It was actually pretty good."


What TV show is the cast of your show most hooked on?
"A lot of us watch Will and Grace. That's one of my favorite shows and very popular with the rest of the cast. I never used to be a TV buff until lately, and now I'm trying to get everyone turned onto The Anna Nicole Show. It's so funny how trashy and incoherent she is; she is such a train wreck. At first, I said, 'I'm not going to support this crap', and now I'm hooked."


What do you like best about being on your show?
"My family and friends I've made here. Having someone to call and talk to. It's not necessarily all about the work here, and because we're so happy here, it reflects in our work and helps make our show a good show."


When you started in daytime, what surprised you the most about it?
"The pace...memorizing 40 new pages every night and then go on the set and spit it out and forget it. Then you go home and do it all over again. I thought I had escaped homework when I got out of high school!"


What's in your closet?
"My favorite brand of jeans is Diesel. I really like the look, and I'll wear any sweatshirt as long as its comfortable."


What is the most important thing that you've learned from your father?
"Respect and being humble."


What is the last gift that you bought yourself?
"A Honda S2000."


Where could you enjoy living, if not in the United States?
"Australia and Italy. I love them both...for different reasons.


What makes you laugh?
"Robin Williams."


Who would you most like to meet?
"Michael Shoemaker, the world's best F1 driver."


What's the weirdest item in your kitchen cabinets?
"Four potato peelers -- and I don't know why."
