Ridge: Do I want to spank you? Is that what you said?

Brooke: Well, I'm not going to force you. I mean, I'm not really feeling that guilty.

Ridge: Something tells me you're not feeling guilty at all.

Brooke: No. I really am very sorry. I don't know what I was thinking. Wasting all that delicious marinara sauce.

Ridge: I shouldn't be laughing, 'cause it's not really funny.

Brooke: Well, it was a little funny!

Ridge: No, Logan, you dumped a whole jar of pasta sauce over Tricia. What's --

Brooke: I lost my temper, okay?

Ridge: Yes, that's obvious. The question is, "why?" I mean, what were you and Tricia arguing about, anyway?

Brooke: Well, she overstepped her bounds, Ridge. You and I we've known each other for a very long time, and we have a very unique and special relationship. And I am not going to let anybody undermine that.

Ridge: All right, look. Nobody likes to be told what do to, okay? I realize that. But that didn't give you the right to lash out at Tricia.

Brooke: Tricia doesn't know what we mean to each other. There's nobody in my life that understands me or knows me better than you do. Not my children. Not my family. Nobody. I can be completely honest with you. And this woman -- this stranger thinks that I'm using Taylor's death to manipulate you, to make inroads with you. She doesn't get it. If she thinks that I would stoop that low, then she doesn't know me at all. Listen, I don't mean to dump this on you.

Ridge: No, it's okay. I can see you're upset about this.

Brooke: But do you see why? I don't want you to think I'm being totally irrational.

Ridge: I don't. But I also don't think Tricia's being malicious either.

Brooke: She shouldn't pass judgment on something that she doesn't understand. She doesn't get our relationship, and I'm not about to explain it to her. Ridge, we have such a wonderful history together. And those memories -- they're just so precious to me. And I know they're precious to you, too.

Brooke starts remembering their past ---
Unforgettable that's what you are unforgettable though near or far like a song of love that clings to me oh, the thought of you does things to me never before has someone been more unforgettable in every way and forevermore and forevermore that's how you'll stay that's how you'll stay that's why darling it's incredible that someone so unforgettable thinks that I am unforgettable too. Brooke looks back at Ridge - they smile at each other then Ridge shakes his head as if to say, yeah - it was all pretty amazing.

Ridge: You're right, Logan. We made some great memories.

Brooke: Old times.

Ridge: Happy times.

Brooke: You probably haven't thought of that in years.

Ridge: Well, you never really forget the big moments.

Brooke: Or the crazy ones.

Ridge: Well, we had a bunch of those, didn't we?

Brooke: Yeah, we did. I think back to when we first met, and I was so young.

Ridge: Yeah, we both were.

Brooke: You were living in the fast lane.

Ridge: You were just dreaming about it.

Brooke: Mm-hmm. I never imagined where it might take us.

Ridge: Seems like another lifetime, doesn't it?

Brooke: So much has happened.

Ridge: But here we are, all these years later.

Brooke: And you know why, don't you? The bottom line is, Ridge, I'm here because of you. I'm here because I'm concerned about you. And because you're a very important part of my life. I'm here because I love you. Well, not the way that your mother thinks that I love you. You know, I --

Ridge: I know. You don't have to explain, because I understand. It's okay.
